All my watercolors and some oil paintings are available as limited edition giclée prints—the finest art prints available. This method produces rich color and a high level of accuracy.
In fact, most people cannot tell a giclee from an original watercolor. The difference is only at the edge of the paper. If it is rippled, then it is an original as the paper has reacted to water. Also, the original may have places where paint goes slightly beyond the border of the painting. The print will be a clean line. And of course, though both will be signed by the artist, the giclée will also include the number of the print, for example '24/150' (number 24 of an edition of 150 prints.)
These limited editions are produced on the highest quality 310 gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper using the archival pigments. I work closely with the artisan printer to assure that each print is of the highest quality.
While these prints have over 100 year archival rating, like all fine art, Giclee prints are by nature fragile and must be handled with care and protected from direct sunlight. UV glass or Plexiglas is also advised.
Prices for unframed prints range from $75 - $1000, depending on size and complexity. Sales tax or shipping costs are not included.
